 Amy Poehler, an American voice artist, comedian and producer who has a net worth exceeding $25 million, is Amy Poehler. Her most well-known character is on Parks and Recreation, an NBC comedy. She has also appeared in a number of films. She became famous due to "Saturday Night Live".Amy Meredith Poehler was born in Newton, Massachusetts on September 16, 1971. Her parents, Eileen and William Poehler were both teachers in the school. Her younger brother is, Greg, who is an actor and producer. Amy was born in the Boston suburb of Burlington, Massachusetts. Amy was bitten by the acting bug when she played Dorothy in"The Wizard of Oz" in middle school, when she was 10. She was a member of the drama department in high school, as well as an active participant in the Student Council, and an player on the softball and soccer teams. In 1989, Amy graduated from high school and enrolled at Boston College. Amy was part of an improv comedy group during her time at college. In 1993, she received her degree from Boston College.
