Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was an American actress who is best known for her role as Joan Holloway. She played the role for seven seasons of the period drama Mad Men from 2007-2015. The show received wide acclaim from critics in the series and received nominations for six Emmy awards in the category of best supporting actress. Over the course of her 20-year career she also was recognized for her performance in the comedy dramatic Another Period, a crime thriller dubbed Tin Star. Her performances are noted in movies like Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River as well as The Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg as well as American Woman. Additionally, she's been a voice actor in animated films, such as From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 and Scoob!. Earlier she began her career as a model. She carried on for a long time before she made her acting debut in the television program Undressed at the end of 1999. Her first substantial role came in the comedy drama series Beggars and Choosers following which she also received appreciation for her role in the popular show Firefly.
